LogiAlpha is a business-to-business service. When a customer uploads business files or other data to the platform, that customer decides what data is processed and LogiAlpha generally processes it on the customer’s behalf. Please contact the relevant customer organization first if your request concerns data they uploaded.

1. Scope & Our Privacy Roles

This Notice applies to the LogiAlpha marketing website, account and authentication experiences, customer support, sales communications, and the LogiAlpha software platform (collectively, the “Services”).

For website visitors, prospects, account contacts, and our own business operations, LogiAlpha determines why and how personal information is handled. For Customer Freight Data submitted by a business customer, LogiAlpha generally acts as a service provider or processor under the customer’s instructions. The customer remains responsible for deciding whether that data may be submitted and for providing required notices to affected individuals.

Where LogiAlpha processes personal information for a customer, additional processing, security, subprocessor, incident-response, and deletion obligations may be documented in a Data Processing Addendum incorporated into that customer’s Order Form. Contact legal@logialpha.ai to request the current enterprise DPA.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact and sales information: name, business email, company, job title, phone number, message content, meeting preferences, and files or context you choose to share.
  • Account information: name, business email, profile information, organization membership, permissions, and authentication identifiers.
  • Customer Freight Data: carrier contracts, rate sheets, surcharge notes, routes, customer and supplier references, quote content, and other business files submitted to the platform.
  • Support and feedback: messages, diagnostic details, feature requests, and other communications with us.
  • Commercial records: Order Forms, subscription scope, invoices, payment status, and transaction contacts. Payment providers may process payment-card or banking details directly; LogiAlpha does not need to store complete payment-card numbers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • device, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, network, and operating-system information;
  • pages viewed, links selected, referring page, session dates, and interaction events;
  • authentication, application, API, security, and audit logs; and
  • preferences stored in cookies or browser local storage, such as language and interface settings.

2.3 Information from Other Sources

We may receive account information from an employer or team administrator who invites you, identity information from an authentication provider, meeting details from a scheduling provider, and business contact information from referral or sales partners.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, authenticate, support, and improve the Services;
  • import and process freight documents, prepare review results, and generate quotes at a customer’s direction;
  • create accounts, manage organization membership and permissions, and maintain security and audit records;
  • respond to inquiries, schedule demonstrations, deliver support, and communicate about subscriptions;
  • process orders, issue invoices, administer renewals, and maintain business records;
  • monitor performance, detect abuse, investigate incidents, and protect customers, LogiAlpha, and the public;
  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and
  • analyze aggregated or de-identified usage patterns that do not identify a customer or individual.

Depending on the jurisdiction and context, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, consent, legal obligations, or another lawful basis.

4. Artificial Intelligence Processing

LogiAlpha uses automated and AI-assisted systems to identify document structure, extract and normalize freight rates and charges, surface review items, and prepare quote-related information. Customers remain responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for binding pricing decisions.

Customer Freight Data is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve publicly accessible AI models or multi-tenant foundation models. When specialized AI infrastructure providers process Customer Freight Data for LogiAlpha, they do so to provide the requested Services and are subject to contractual confidentiality, security, and data-use restrictions.

5. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to:

  • the customer organization: account administrators and authorized users may access information associated with their organization;
  • service providers: cloud hosting and storage, authentication, AI infrastructure, email, customer support, scheduling, form processing, security, and professional services providers;
  • professional advisers: auditors, accountants, insurers, legal counsel, and financing advisers subject to confidentiality obligations;
  • authorities or other parties: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • transaction participants: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

LogiAlpha does not sell personal information for money. We do not disclose Customer Freight Data to competing freight forwarders.

6. International Processing

LogiAlpha and its service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Information in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and lawful access by its courts or authorities. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer the customer relationship, meet legal and financial-record obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention depends on the type of information, contractual instructions, sensitivity, and applicable law.

After a customer subscription ends, the customer may request an export of Customer Freight Data during the period stated in its agreement. We may then delete or de-identify that data under our retention practices, subject to backups, legal holds, and applicable law.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, and disclosure. These include access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, tenant isolation, monitoring, and incident-response procedures. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that an incident will never occur.

9. Your Choices & Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, object to or restrict certain processing, request deletion, or receive a portable copy. These rights may be limited by law and by LogiAlpha’s role as a processor for a customer.

For information in a customer workspace, submit your request to that customer organization. For information LogiAlpha controls directly, email legal@logialpha.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may submit a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to complain to your local privacy or data-protection authority.

10. Cookies & Browser Storage

Our application uses cookies, similar technologies, and local storage for authentication, security, language selection, interface preferences, and product functionality. The marketing website does not load non-essential analytics or embedded scheduling tools. If you choose a Calendly link, you leave our website and interact directly with Calendly. A contact form is sent to Formspree only when you submit it.

You can control cookies through your browser and use available browser privacy controls. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Third-party services may apply their own privacy notices when you interact with them.

11. Children

The Services are designed for business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Services.

12. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Notice.

13. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in our Services, providers, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Notice with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
